With over 43 years of experience in the disability sector, Christine brings a unique and powerful blend of professional expertise and lived experience to her work with families and carers.
As the mother of an adult daughter with multiple disabilities, Christine knows firsthand the challenges families face — and she’s passionate about helping others feel informed, confident, and empowered. At VALID Connect, she develops and delivers training sessions, information workshops, and planning support tailored for families navigating the disability system.
Christine is skilled in person-centred planning approaches, including:
- Essential Lifestyle Planning (ELP)
- Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope (PATH)
- Making Action Plans (MAPS)
She’s also the author of several practical resources, including VALID’s Succession Planning course, and is deeply committed to helping families advocate effectively for their loved ones and build strong, future-focused plans.
When she’s not working, Christine enjoys balancing her love of Star Wars with the quiet focus of stamp collecting — a treasured hobby passed down from her grandmother.
